Bring your own deck - the Rider-Waite deck is highly recommended for beginners.

 
Class Outline

Introduction:

-Introduction to what tarot is, how the deck is structured, a brief history, and how it can be applied
-Telling a story with the cards
-Lecture on Major Arcana – The Fool’s Journey (cards 0 through 21)
-Grounding meditation to strengthen connection to intuition

Numerology:

-All about Numerology in tarot
-How to ask the right questions with tarot
-Intro to Minor Arcana symbols and themes
-Guided meditation for clarity, guidance, and protection

Cups:

-All about Cups (Ace thru King)
-Symbolism of water - emotions, intuition, & flow
-Guided meditation to unblock tension and allow flow

Swords:

-All about Swords (Ace thru King)
-Symbolism of air - the mind & logic
-Guided meditation to observe thoughts, creating a small gap between thoughts

Wands:

-All about Wands (Ace thru King)
-Symbolism of fire - passion, spirituality, and creativity
-Guided meditation to visualize waking up in dream life 1 year from now
-Practice reading for ourselves - 3 card spread to reach dream life

Pentacles:

-All about Pentacles (Ace thru King)
-Symbolism of earth - the material world & feeling grounded
-Practice reading for others
-Additional resources beyond class (different types of spreads, online resources, book recommendations)
