Kids will get a practical working knowledge of the core essentials of cooking and will have the opportunity to incorporate their own flavor preferences into the items we create. Since the weather will be cooling down, we’ll be doing some dishes suitable for the fall such as soups, risotto, and pot pies. We’ll enhance these main dishes with simple vegetable dishes, giving kids an opportunity to realize just how delicious healthy food can be.
This class is suitable for older beginners to upper level younger children, from ages 10-17. Kids should be sent to class with 3 medium to large Tupperware containers, a notebook and pen, and a water bottle to drink from.
Exact dishes made will always be changing with the seasons, so feel free to take this class more than once.
