A singing workshop in a judgment free environment where students learn safe and effective vocal techniques using numerous exercises that release tension from the body and voice. The singer will learn healthy breathing techniques, posture and develop flexibility and strength. Topics include placement and resonance as well as bridging registrations, range increase and even voice singing. You will learn to communicate true emotions in your singing from the poetry and lyrics. Weekly performance opportunities within the class. Feedback and coaching in a master class style.
Students are expected to practice the exercises in and outside of class. Assignments will be given each week in the form of exercises and warm ups. Students will learn how to prepare songs in a specific process.
