Beyond Snapshots/Focus on Composition & Creativity

Learn to take interesting photos of almost any subject, stretch your creative eye, and hone your observation skills. Class will focus on specific visual composition concepts and depth of field to improve your photography beyond an ordinary snapshot. We’ll split our time between discussing photo concepts, shooting photos, and reviewing images. In addition to taking photos around the LAVC campus, students are encouraged to bring a non-fragile object to photograph.
